Youth Girls take over Bateau Bay

The AFL NSW/ACT Youth Girls State Cup was held on the weekend of October 24 and 25 in Bateau Bay, NSW.

Nine teams from across all regions of NSW and the ACT travelled to the Central Coast town, to participate in the female football carnival.

The carnival is an opportunity for players to demonstrate their abilities and heighten their development by playing against teams from across NSW and the ACT.

18 games were played over the weekend across two divisions. Riverina took out the Pathway Division after strong competition from Canberra and GWS Grey defeated Sydney Harbour in the Development Division final.
