PRIMARY SCHOOL PROGRAMS
LEARN AFL – SPORTING SCHOOLS
Based on our core introductory program NAB AFL Auskick, the curriculum-linked program focuses on basic skill development in fun, safe learning environments. Delivered through the AFL Sporting Schools or School Payment method with a minimum of a 4-week program.
EXPERIENCE AFL – SPORTING SCHOOLS
Age appropriate, curriculum-linked activities building core AFL skills into more mini-game based play, simialr to Community AFL club session. Delivered through the AFL Sporting Schools or School Payment method with a minimum of a 4-week program.
NAB AFL AUSKICK – AFTER-SCHOOL
Based on NAB AFL Auskick model, this 4-week clinic-based program will improve participant abilities in core AFL skills & game sense activities. They are run on school grounds by qualified AFL staff.
SECONDARY SCHOOL PROGRAMS
INTRODUCE AFL – YEAR 7-8
Aims to teach the basic skills of the game in a safe and fun environment. The timing of the program can be modified to meet a range of options for the school. Delivered through the AFL Sporting Schools or School Payment method with a minimum of a 4-week program.
EXPERIENCE AFL – YEAR 9-12
Sessions based on both the skills and games, with the added access to officiating and coaching opportunities. These can be delivered by PDHPE teachers using AFL platforms with AFL NSW/ACT staff supporting practical application. Delivered through the AFL Sporting Schools or School Payment method with a minimum of a 4-week program..
COACHING & OFFICIATING COURSES YEAR 9-12
Accredited AFL Level 0 and 1 course are available for teachers and students to access via AFL platforms with AFL/NSW staff supporting practical application.
