LEARN AFL – SPORTING SCHOOLS
Based on our core introductory program NAB AFL Auskick, the curriculum-linked program focuses on basic skill development in fun, safe learning environments. Delivered through the AFL Sporting Schools min 4-week Program.
EXPERIENCE AFL – SPORTING SCHOOLS
Age appropriate, curriculum-linked activities building core AFL skills into more mini-game based play. Delivered through the AFL Sporting Schools min 4-week Program.
NAB AFL AUSKICK – AFTER-SCHOOL
Based on the extremely successful NAB AFL Auskick model, this intense 4-week clinic-based curriculum will dramatically improve participant abilities in core AFL skills, as well as game sense activities
connected to our elite AFL teams. They are run on school grounds by qualified AFL staff.
SECONDARY SCHOOL PROGRAMS
INTRODUCE AFL – YEAR 7-8 – SPORTING SCHOOLS
Aims to teach the basic skills of the game in a safe and fun environment. The timing of the program can be modified to meet a range of options for the school.
EXPERIENCE AFL – YEAR 9-12 – SPORTING SCHOOLS
Developed to be used in upper high school classes to provide students with an opportunity to learn key AFL related skills. The program aims to Educate students on the rules of Australian Football, Teach students the skills of Australian Football, Provide students with the skills to coach Australian Football and Provide students with the skills to umpire Australian Football. Delivered through the AFL Sporting Schools min 4-week Program.
COACHING COURSES YEAR 9-12
Accredited AFL Level 0 and 1 course are available and have been linked to specific PE curriculum outcomes. Delivered through the AFL Sporting Schools min 4-week Program.
