The Australian Football League (AFL) considers the role and performance of the umpire as critical in terms of upholding the integrity of the game, and influencing the environment in which participants are competing.
The performance of umpires contributes to the enjoyment of AFL 9s participants and ensures the social aspect of the game is upheld. Umpires play a vital role in ensuring AFL 9s is played in a fair, safe and engaging environment.
AFL 9s operates across multiple venues on multiple weeknights. Our suburbs are located in Sydney, Canberra, Newcastle, Western Sydney as well as regional locations across NSW & ACT.
We currently operate on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday nights from around 6.20pm at some venues and 7pm at others.
