AFL NSW/ACT team up with Little Athletics NSW and ACT in 2017

AFL NSW/ACT is thrilled to announce a new sporting alliance with Little Athletics NSW and Little Athletics ACT. This alliance will connect participants of both sports with another option for summer and winter respectively and allow Community Clubs to build local relationships and collaborate amongst volunteers.

The alliance was launched at Blacktown International Sportspark over the weekend with children participating in a skills clinic with GWS Giants AFLW player Alexandra Saundry in the morning before playing a game of Auskick at half time.

Dean Connors, AFL NSW/ACT State Manager, Regions and Programs said “We’re so excited to be teaming up with the fantastic team at Little Athletics NSW and ACT. It’s a win-win for both organisations as well as our participants and we look forward to working together in 2017 and beyond.”

Leanne Nelson Director of Little Athletics ACT said “Little Athletics NSW and ACT are excited about this new alliance, which not only provides our athletes with the opportunity to participate in a sport that shares our philosophy of “family, fun and fitness”,  but also allows AFL NSW/ACT kids to enjoy Little Athletics.”
