Cadbury Super Teams announced

For the second year running the 2013 Cadbury Super Team winner is from Greater Western Sydney and we are lucky enough to have this fantastic FREE event held at the home of the GWS GIANTS – ŠKODA Stadium!

Colleen from the Quakers Hill Bombers, winner of the Cadbury Super Team promotion in conjunction with Cadbury, Coles, the AFL and the GIANTS invite you and your family to the CADBURY SUPER TEAM FAMILY DAY to be held at:

Australia Day –  Saturday 26 January 2013  10am – 2pm

Come and meet twenty AFL Superstars, including Swans stars Kieren Jack and Adam Goodes, as well as GIANTS Tom Scully and Callan Ward, and enjoy a day of fun and excitement for the whole family:

The GIANTS will be there with additional GIANTS players and G-MAN cheering Tom and Callan on when they play in a demonstration game of AFL’s exciting new game format Cadbury AFL 9s. Two teams headed up by captains Adam Goodes and Dale Thomas will play alongside some of the biggest names in the competition including Kieren Jack, Jack Riewoldt and Karmichael Hunt.

The AFL Playground and GIANTS Fanzone will be up plus plenty more fun, safe and engaging activities for the whole family this Australia Day.  If you haven’t already become a member you can sign up on the day or purchase the latest GIANTS merchandise.

This is a FREE event however numbers are strictly limited and you must register online to book your tickets. Registrations close on Friday 18 January or until at capacity so be quick to ensure your place at this exciting, fun-filled Australia Day event.  

Full teams:

Team Goodes will be led by the dual-Brownlow medalist himself, ably assisted by West Coast Eagles ruckman Dean Cox, Kangaroos captain Andrew Swallow, Swans teammate Kieren Jack and 2012 Brownlow medalist Jobe Watson.

They will be joined by Gold Coast Sun Karmichael Hunt, Bulldog Daniel Giansiracusa, Geelong defender Harry Taylor, Hawks midfielder Sam Mitchell and Tigers forward Jack Riewoldt.

Their opposition will be captained by Collingwood’s Dale Thomas with Essendon’s David Zaharakis, Adelaide speedster Patrick Dangerfield and GIANTS young guns Tom Scully and Callan Ward.

Thomas’ team will also feature Lions superstar Jonathon Brown, tough Saint Lenny Hayes, Fremantle defender Luke McPharlin, new Richmond captain Trent Cotchin and Hawks star Josh Gibson.
