U18 Allies squad announced
The squad will play in the Division 1 NAB AFL Under-18 Championships. More than half of the Allies team reside from the NSW/ACT Rams. The announcement came after the NSW/ACT Rams won the Division 2 National Championship on the weekend.
NSW/ACT Rams and Allies coach Tadhg Kennelly is pleased to see so many NSW/ACT players selected.
“After a successful National Championships, it’s great to see so many NSW/ACT players rewarded with selection for the Allies. The Allies concept gives players from Division 2 the opportunity to compete against the traditional stronghold states of Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia for the Division 1 title, starting with South Australia on June 4.”
The Allies meet South Australia for their first game on Saturday, June 4 at AAMI Stadium.
