The GIANTS are coming to a town near you

The GWS GIANTS will kick off their 2019 AFL Community Camps this week, beginning in Canberra ahead of their JLT Community Series match against Adelaide on Friday, March 8.

For anyone wanting to come along and get an autograph – or plenty more – we encourage all footy fans to get out to the following public events.

Canberra

What: AFL Canberra, Community Club Night, GIANTS Open Training

Where: UNSW Canberra Oval, The GIANTS will train at UNSW Canberra Oval from 5pm on Thursday with a Community Club night to run from 5:30pm-7pm. This will include a signing session with the players, inflatables and visits from GMan, GiGi, Batman and Elsa.

When: Thursday 7 March, 5:30pm – 7pm

Cost: FREE!

Wagga Wagga

What: Meet and Greet, signings and photos

Where:  Sturt Mall, Wagga Wagga

When: Wednesday 13 March, 5pm to 6pm

Cost: FREE!

More info: Come along to Sturt Mall to say hello to some of the players from the GIANTS. Take a photo, get an autograph and say hi!

Batemans Bay

What: Batemans Bay Community Clinic with games and activities. Fans are invited to come along for a meet and greet, photo and autographs

Where: Hanging Rock Oval, Batemans Bay

When: Thursday 14 March from 3-4pm

Cost: FREE!

More info: Power FM Bega Bay will be broadcasting live from the ground for the afternoon.

Western Sydney

What: Western Sydney Juniors Super Clinic & Forum

Where: Blacktown International Sportspark, AFL/Cricket Precinct, Gate C, Eastern Rd, Rooty Hill

When: Thursday 14 March, 5pm – 7pm

More info: The GIANTS Super Clinic will run from 5-6pm at Oval 1. Here all junior participants are invited to improve their skills before the 2019 footy season with the GIANTS players running age based sessions. Following the clinic will be a Footy Forum held in the BISP function room where junior participants, family members, coaches and volunteers are invited to ask the experts at the GIANTS anything around skill development and tips for a successful 2019 season. Light refreshments will be provided.
