The teams: GIANTS/Swans Academies vs South Australia
A combination of U18 boys from NSW/ACT (12 from GIANTS Academy, 12 from Swans Academy) will face off against South Australia in a trial game that will be played at Thebarton Oval in Adelaide on Sunday May 14 with a 10:05am start.
This game is an initiative of the two AFL club academies in NSW/ACT and will feature some of the top talent in our state.
Staff from both club academies will share responsibility for coaching and game day roles.
2022 was the first year this trial match was held with the GIANTS/Swans Academies winning. Recent GIANTS draftee Harry Rowston kicked three goals and was prominent throughout the game.
