Sydney Swans v Hawthorn

The Sydney Swans travel to Melbourne this weekend to take on a rejuvenated Hawthorn outfit who showed signs on Sunday they are heading towards their premiership winning form.

The Swans faced a tough task at the SCG on Saturday when they came up against the 211cm Aaron Sandilands, without a first-choice ruckman on the field.

Two injuries early to Bradshaw and Kennelly didn’t help the red and white’s cause as the Swans lost to an improved Dockers side, led by captain Matthew Pavlich.

After a terrible run of form by the Hawks, the club has now found some form and is in reach of the top eight. Standing in their way is the Swans who will be keen to return to the winners list after dropping their last three matches.

On a Sunday afternoon at the MCG, there is no better time to see the Swans push for finals action as they farewell two of their favourite club-men, coach Paul Roos and captain Brett Kirk, at the end of the season.

The game will be broadcast live on Channel 7 and Fox Sports 1 at 1pm. To view all the other television times please here.

The Swans return to the SCG next Sunday, June 6, when they come up against the exciting Essendon Bombers. Get in early and book your tickets at ticketek.com.au.
