The GIANTS will be looking to carry their good form from last Saturday’s big NAB Challenge win over St Kilda into the clash, with the home side naming a strong squad.

Number one draft pick Tom Boyd (pictured) will make his first appearance for the club, after starring for UWS GIANTS last weekend in Canberra, with Aidan Corr, Zac Williams, and Andrew Phillips other inclusions.

Adelaide, arguably the most impressive outfit during the NAB Challenge, has included forwards Tom Lynch and Eddie Betts for their trip to western Sydney, with the pair set to form an imposing forward line, alongside former Cat James Podsiadly.

The match will begin at 2pm today at Blacktown International Sports Park, with free entry,a BBQ, GIANTS fan zone, merchandise and membership tents, and a special appearance by GIANTS mascot G-man.

The game will also be live streamed via the GIANTS’ website, with a full replay available shortly after the match concludes.

The Swans meanwhile will travel to the sunshine state today, in preparation for tomorrow’s trial against the Lions at Burpengary, as part of the Moreton Bay Festival of Football.

The main game will begin at 2:30pm, following a scratch match between the Lions and Aspley’s NEAFL sides, with all the action covered via a live chat through the Lions’ website.

Both the Swans and Lions have named close to full strength squads, with the inclusion of superstar spearheads Jonathan Brown and Lance “Buddy” Franklin set to attract a healthy crowd.
