Auskicker give the cutest Brownlow Medal interviews ever!
Newcastle City Blues Auskicker of the year Lochie Sunderland stole the show as he interviewed some of the biggest names in the AFL on Brownlow Medal night.
Strutting the red carpet in his mini tuxedo the confident swagger of the young man was evident as he spoke to the likes of Dane Swan, Joel Selwood, Jake Stringer and Medal winner Nat Fyfe.
Lochie hails from Newcastle where he spends his spare time imitating favourite player Kieren Jack in his backyard. The youngster spends two hours a day kicking his ‘buddy’ titled football around his Newcastle home.
The poised young man was the highlight of the red carpet, asking witty and amusing questions of the games’ biggest stars. The cheeky lad even asked mentor Joel Selwood “What you need to tell me, is how do I get a beautiful girlfriend like Brittany?”
Lochie was the round 19 Auskicker of the year nomination for 2014, Winning $5,000 in a NAB Reward Saver Account which he is planning to buy a “boat with a spa on it”
Lochie also won the hearts of social media users for his performance.
