Allies update: 2023 AFL National Championships – U18 Girls

The Allies squad to compete at the 2023 AFL National Championships – U18 Girls has been selected.

Among the squad of 30 players from the Northern Territory, NSW/ACT and Tasmania is 16 from clubs based in NSW or the ACT.

Six players who represented Australia as part of the 2023 AFL Academy Girls program feature in this year’s Allies squad including our own Olivia Morris, Marnie Robinson and Melanie Staunton.

Staunton served as vice-captain for Australia in the match on 18 June against the U23 All-Stars at Marvel Stadium and was awarded the team’s best player medal in the thrilling two-point defeat.
