AFL Australia Day Fun
If you’re looking for a truly Australian activity to do this Australia Day check out these great events. With the Sydney Swans, GWS GIANTS and some of the best players in the AFL in attendance at many of the events it’s going to be a fun day out the whole family can enjoy.
Cadbury Super Team Family Fun Day, Blacktown
If rubbing shoulders with the likes of Adam Goodes (Sydney Swans), Dale Thomas (Collingwood), Israel Folau (GWS GIANTS), Nic Naitanui (West Coast), Sam Mitchell (Hawthorn) and Kieren Jack (Swans) is your style then come on down to the Cadbury Super Team Family Fun Day at Blacktown Athletics Centre.
AFL superstars will be in attendance as well as free food and drinks provided by Coles, giveaways, jumping castle, speed cages, AFL games plus plenty more activities for people of all ages.
The amazing Australia Day event is made possible by Les, from Stanhope Garden, for winning the Cadbury Super Team promotion.

Warwick Farm
Head to Warwick Farm for a truly home-grown Australia Day featuring the $100,000 Australia Day Cup and plenty of Aussie-inspired entertainment for the whole family to enjoy.
Plus you’ll get to mingle with some of the players from the Greater Western Sydney GIANTS and show off your AFL talent with the interactive ‘Big Kick’. Kids will also get the opportunity take home a photo with some of the GIANTS players!
FREE entertainment and activities include:

Hyde Park Australia Day
Join in the fun on Australia Day at the Hyde Park celebrations! The AFL interactive activities will be located in the north end of Hyde Park from 10am to 5pm. Come along and have a go on the Sydney Swans new ‘Jump, Bump, Thump’ inflatable or verse a friend in a game of AFL on the PS3. Sydney Swans players will be appearing from 3pm so make sure you head over to the Swans marquee to get an autograph and to meet your heroes.
Skill clinics will be held at 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm & 3:30pm in the AFL zone as per above.
Yabun Festival
YABUN FESTIVAL 2012, is back bigger and better than ever at Victoria Park, Broadway, Sydney on 26th of January 2012.
Starting in 2003, Yabun is the largest single day Indigenous festival and is one of the most important Indigenous music events in the country reflecting the huge wealth of Indigenous creative talent. Yabun is renowned for its artistic lineup – presenting some of Australia’s best in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander music from around the country, including well established artists to those just emerging on the scene.
Whether you’re a long-time audience member or a first time visitor, we look forward to celebrating Yabun’s 10th year with you.
2012 sees performances from Australian music sensations Jessica Mauboy, Dan Sultan and Christine Anu.
This year Yabun expands their children and youth stages with music, education and performances, promoting physical activity for a healthier lifestyle, which is the cornerstone of the Festival. Yabun are proud to announce a not to be missed collaboration between Young Black and Deadly (YBD), Redfern Community Centre and Moogahlin Kidz Circus project, whereby the local Koori Kids will showcase their skills on an exciting production to include Aerial/Trapeze/Circus.
