Joss State Zone Trials – Day Two
Day two of the under-13 and under-14 Joss State Zone Trials continued today with the Starz, Heat, Pioneers, Pigeons, Cats, Stingrays and Rebels all playing spirited matches.
Another day in sunny conditions at the Albury Sports Ground, saw the players put on a show for the crowd and AFL talent scouts looking on.
Teams were given a rare surprise with recently-retired Sydney Swans coach Paul Roos watching on. Roos, who will commence work as the QBE Sydney Swans Academy coach next season will develop young kids into future Swans players.
At night, Team GWS recruit Anthony Miles spoke to the teams about his journey through the Talented Player Program and the hard work required to make it onto an AFL list.
