AFL NSW/ACT is pleased to commit $3000 towards the Fiver for a Farmer campaign.

New South Wales is currently experiencing one of the worst droughts in history and the Fiver for a Farmer idea looks to raise money to assist farmers, their families and animals in need.

Ten year old Jack Berne from Sydney’s Northern Beaches, who created the Fiver for a Farmer campaign, has inspired the nation to pay attention, and do what they can to help.

AFL NSW/ACT CEO Sam Graham says the organisation is pleased to support Jack and his inspirational campaign.

“AFL NSW/ACT is pleased to support the Fiver for a Farmer campaign,” said Graham.

“With the drought impacting much of the AFL NSW/ACT region, we have seen the devastation it has had, which has impacted our players and volunteers in our very own football clubs across the state.

“If we can support farming families in this way through the Fiver for a Farmer campaign, we are more than happy to be able to help.”
