Juniors gain from Swans’ bye

The Swans have a bye this weekend so they are taking the opportunity to visit junior clubs and meet hundreds of young footballers across Sydney this Sunday, July 31.

Around 40 players will be out and about on Sunday morning, visiting clubs at locations including Glebe, Taren Point, Mosman, Gore Hill and North Ryde.

The visits have been organised by the AFL in conjunction with local junior clubs. The players will be helping to run clinics, coaching and might even have to lift a hand on the barbeque.

The players will visit the following locations between 10am and midday:

• Gore Hill Oval, Pacific Highway, St Leonards, 10am to midday 

• Gwawley Oval, corner Taren Point Rd and Box Rds, Taren Point – 10am to midday

• Jubilee Oval, Chapman Road, Glebe Point, 10am to midday

• Middle Head Oval, Middle Head Rd, Mosman, 10am to midday

• ELS Hall Park, Booth St, North Ryde, 10am to midday
