AFL Ice Road Truckers

New South Wales’ cold front caused a few headaches on Tuesday afternoon, especially for AFL staff trying to deliver Auskick packs to enthusiastic budding AFL players.

Preparing to descend Fitzgerald’s Mount in the dark on the Great Western Highway between Blayney and Bathurst is a challenge in itself. It was made worse for AFL staff by cold, wet, icy and snowy roads.

Fortunately 95 kids were happy that snow did not stop them from receiving their Auskick packs!

A safe and happy trip for everyone involved in the end.
