AFL Clubs are asked to each select a list of their 50 preferred players to attend the 2019 NAB AFL Draft Combine, with the 79 invitees all receiving nominations from at least four clubs.

The 2019 NAB AFL Draft Combine will assess each player’s strength and skills through several tests including 20-metre sprint, agility tests and vertical jump.

AFL Talent Ambassador, Kevin Sheehan said the Draft Combine is an opportunity for players to showcase their skills before the 2019 NAB AFL Draft.

“The Draft Combine sees the best players from across Australia gather to showcase their abilities both physically and mentally in front of club recruiters,” Sheehan said.

“Clubs receive a final chance to assess players from their skills and agility testing at the Draft Combine, and they are able to conduct one-on-one interviews across the week to analyse the personalities of the players.

“The on and off field assessments assist AFL clubs in making key decisions for the upcoming NAB AFL Draft in November.”

The 2019 NAB AFL Draft Combine will move from Marvel Stadium for the first time since 2011, with the new venue to be confirm by the end of August.
