Swans to face Roos for GF berth

For the victor, a Grand Final birth is the reward. For the loser, the season will draw to a close.

The two sides have faced off once this season, in round four, when the Kangaroos defeated the Swans by 43 points in heavy conditions at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
The Kangaroos will come into the game full of self-belief, after finishing 6th on the ladder at the end of the home and away season, and defeating Essendon and the Cats in weeks one and two of the finals respectively.

The Kangaroos will also draw confidence from the fact that they were the only side to defeat the Swans at the SCG this year.

However, the Swans enjoy playing at ANZ Stadium, especially in finals, winning eight of their last nine finals fixtures at the venue.

The Swans will also draw inspiration from Adam Goodes this weekend, as the Swans champion plays his 350th game in the Red and White, as he looks to add another Premiership medallion to sit alongside his 2005 and 2012 editions.

First bounce is scheduled for 7:50pm, with gates opening at 6:00pm.
