Registration Open – Female Indigenous Youth Leadership Program
The AFL NSW/ACT Female Indigenous Youth Leadership Program is officially open for applicants.
The Program (November 15-17 at the National Centre of Indigenous Excellence, Redfern) offers a player and leadership development camp for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander girls aged 12-15 years old, who are playing or interested in playing Australian Football.
Sponsored by Transport for NSW, the three day camp is free of cost to young women who are interested in the following:
- – Learning new skills
- – Health and fitness
- – Opportunity for selection into the AFL Diversity talent pathways
- – Being good role models, on and off the field
- – Hearing from current AFL players and community members about leadership and staying safe on New South Wales Roads
