AFL NSW/ACT continue partnership with Finish with the Right Stuff

AFL NSW/ACT has once again joined forces with NSW Health to bring Finish with the Right Stuff to clubs across the state.

Finish with the Right Stuff is a free program that helps junior sports clubs to promote water as the drink of choice and provide healthy food and drink options for their players and patrons.

Finish with the Right Stuff is one of the many programs delivered by NSW Health that aim to improve the health and wellbeing of children across the state.

Clubs that join the program receive free tailored support from program staff, practical tools, resources and mechanise to make small, quick and easy changes that help to promote healthy eating and drinking in sport.

Over 335 junior clubs, including 44 junior AFL clubs, have already participated in the program and have supported their players and patrons to choose healthier food and drink options.

AFL NSW/ACT is proud to announce GWS GIANTS player Erin McKinnon as the Finish with the Right Stuff Ambassador again this year.

“I think Finish With the Right stuff is a fantastic campaign and I really encourage all AFL clubs to get around it,” McKinnon said.

“It’s really important to ensure that we maximise our kids’ potential and ensure that we are maximising their performance by providing healthy options and really encouraging that.”
