Hot pies for just $2 at all Round 23 matches

In an extension of the activities to thank footy fans for their support this year, pie prices have been lowered to $2 at all venues during Round 23 matches of the 2017 Toyota AFL Premiership Season.

The $2 pie offer at all matches of this weekend’s Round 23 is valid only up until the start of the match.

AFL General Manager of Clubs and Broadcasting, Travis Auld said the addition of reduced pie prices at all Round 23 matches allowed the industry to make this weekend’s matches even more affordable for fans.

“Not only will kids under 15 enjoy free entry to eight of the nine matches during Round 23, but footy fans will be able to enjoy an iconic pie at the footy for a reduced price of $2 at all venues,” Mr Auld said.

“These initiatives are part of our continued commitment to constantly improve match day experiences and affordability for footy fans, and thank you for turning out in record numbers during the 2017 Toyota AFL Premiership Season.

“Round 23 concludes our home and away season, and with that the AFL would like to extend thanks to each of the 18 AFL Clubs, all 17 venues and caterers for their contribution to delivering first-class match day experiences and activities for all fans,” he said.

Announced yesterday, kids under the age of 15 will also gain free entry to all Round 23 matches played at the Adelaide Oval, Etihad Stadium, The Gabba, MCG, SCG and Simonds Stadium from Friday August 25 to Sunday August 27.

Footy fans will get the opportunity to win prizes when attending Round 23 matches, including Australian premiere tickets to the new LEGO Ninjago movie and various other LEGO giveaways, with thanks to LEGO and Village Cinemas.

One lucky family of four will also get the chance to win a holiday to LEGOLAND in California valued at over $15,000 including VIP entry, return flights, accommodation, and transfers.

To celebrate Round 23, Foxtel is giving away one year’s Platinum HD Foxtel Subscriptions to four lucky winners across each game in Round 23, a total of 36 lucky winners across the whole round. Meaning the winners will enjoy their team in every round, live with no ad-breaks siren to siren on Fox Footy.

Round 23 will deliver footy fans the opportunity to have a kick on-field post-match at selected venues.
