The Allies suffered a large defeat at the hands of Vic Country over the weekend as they faced off in Tasmania.

Kept goalless for the first half, the Allies were outdone by Vic Country who were coming off a win against their most fierce rivals, Vic Metro.

GWS Academy player and top-10 draft prospect, Tom Green battled hard for the Allies to finish with 18 disposals and nine clearances.

Sydney Swans Academy member, Jackson Barling produced one of the Allies’ two goals for the day, while GIANTS Academy player Nicholas Murray also put in a good performance in the 97-point defeat,

The Allies will now sit out this coming round with the bye, but will return against Western Australia in Adelaide on Saturday, 22 June at Alberton Oval.
