U17 AFL NSW/ACT Rams side announced
Twenty-four talented under-17 boys have been selected to represent NSW/ACT on the national stage.
The squad will come together for a camp and national games on the Gold Coast on Friday, July 2 through to Thursday, July 8.
Coach, Jared Crouch, lauded the players selected for their hard work and recognised the coaches at both AFL club Academies and community club level for readying these players for the national carnival.
“After an entertaining Academy series between the Swans and Giants where barely a goal separated the two teams across both matches played, an exciting group of young footballers has been selected to represent the U17 NSW/ACT Rams,” Crouch said.
“I have no doubt that this talented squad will be ready to put their best foot forward on the national stage and represent NSW/ACT to the best of their abilities.”
The U17 NSW/ACT will face the Northern Territory at Bond Univsersity, 1:30pm 5 July in their first match of the tournament.
