U16 Championships underway this week
Players from NSW and the ACT will represent the GIANTS Academy and the Sydney Swans Academy next week during the U16 girls 2023 AFL National Development Championships.
The Championships run from 11-30 April with the Academies playing games on 11 and 14 April.

The U16 Academy girls are extremely excited and looking forward to challenging themselves against some of the best players in their age group in the country.
They have certainly displayed some good talent and thirst for improvement already and we are looking to continue their development throughout the series.
Our long term outlook is to give these girls every opportunity to play at the elite level, if they continue to display the attributes and work ethic required, these championships will be the beginning of that pathway.
