Roberts-Thomson, 29, attended Shore from 1996-2001 while Playfair, 29, was a student until 2000.
“It’s a funny feeling coming back here. I remember sitting up the back of the class and being one of a handful of students back then, maybe five or 10, who were involved in AFL,” Playfair said.
Roberts-Thomson said the sport had grown at the school in 11 years since he attended.
