Sam’s screamer

In a sight sure to whet the appetite of AFL fans across the country, Reid came from the side and leapt high above the pack late in the third quarter to take a spectacular grab in the forward pocket, before goaling to give the defending premiers some breathing space against their cross-town rivals.

The long-limbed 21-year-old took some impressive marks in 2012, but his “specky” against the GWS GIANTS tops all his previous efforts and is sure to come under consideration for the prestigious mark of the year award.

Fans will be given the opportunity to vote for their favourite mark and goal each week, and will go in the running to win a weekly cash prize as well as an end-of-season cash prize.
