Regional footy scores in NSW Government grants
The Bathurst Giants will receive almost $300,000 from the NSW Government’s Level the Playing Field grant.
.
Six regional venues and footy communities succeeded in their applications to receive the NSW Government’s new Level the Playing Field grant, with project funding reaching almost $5.5 million for these footy specific projects.
The program will fund the construction of new and upgraded sports facilities, including amenities and lighting improvements across NSW. It allowed for projects between $200,000-$2 million.
Just 26 grants were awarded across the state, so it is a credit to the hardworking footy club volunteers who submitted successful applications in the highly competitive program.
.
