NSW/ACT U18 Rams squad selected for Nationals
The 2016 U18 National Championships are on the horizon and an exciting squad has been selected to represent the NSW/ACT U18 Rams.
The talented young footballers will head into camp this Friday (April 29) in Albury as they begin preparations for their first game of the National Championships against Queensland on May 8.
Here’s the upcoming schedule for the NSW/ACT U18 Rams in the 2016 U18 National Championships:
- Round 1 – NSW/ACT U18 Rams v Queensland
Saturday May 8 (11am) – Blacktown International Sportspark, Sydney
- Round 2 – NSW/ACT U18 Rams v Tasmania
Saturday May 14 (12:15pm) – Blundstone Arena, Hobart
- Round 3 – NSW/ACT U18 Rams v Northern Territory
Sunday May 22 (1:30pm) – Metricon Stadium, Gold Coast
The standout performers during the NSW/ACT Rams matches may get the opportunity to play in an Allies team that will take on Vic Metro, Vic County, South Australia and Western Australia in June.
The Allies squad includes players from NSW, ACT, Queensland, Tasmania and the Northern Territory.
Players not selected in the Allies team will play in an U17/U18 development game against the Northern Territory in Darwin on June 11.
