NSW/ACT U16 Squad
The side will come together for a training camp in Sydney on the weekend of June 14-15, before traveling to the Gold Coast during the July school holidays to compete in the eight-day competition.
Talented youngsters from the region will have the opportunity to play on some of the best grounds the sunshine state has to offer, including H & A Oval (home of the Broadbeach Cats), Fankhauser Reserve (home ground of NEAFL side Southport Sharks), and Metricon Stadium, where the Gold Coast SUNS AFL side is based.
The NSW/ACT side encompasses players from across the region; stretching as far as Figtree on the NSW South Coast, Temora in the South, Coffs Harbour further North, and Tuggernanong in Canberra.
NSW/ACT begins its campaign on the third day of competition, clashing with NT, before taking on hosts QLD, and finishing with a match against Tasmania.
All matches will be comprised of 4×20 minute quarters, except for opening round games, which will run as 4×25 minute quarters, and allow 25 players to be used.
See below for the full U16 squad, to be mentored by 197-game Sydney Swans premiership star Tadhg Kennelly, as well as the schedule of competition.
