By Michael DiFabrizio

GWS GIANTS 5.11 (41) def. by Richmond 24.10 (154)

The GIANTS have suffered their second thumping in as many games, this time going down to Richmond by 113 points.

Under-the-gun Tiger forward Jack Riewoldt was the star of the show, kicking 11.2 in a commanding performance.

A sign of things to come, Riewoldt booted the first of the game two minutes in. Stephen Coniglio goaled soon after, but that would be the last goal from the home side until the third quarter.

By half time, the margin was already 74 points. By three quarter time, it was 103.

Two GIANTS had 34 touches for the afternoon, Dylan Shiel and Adam Treloar.

Coniglio was also among the best with seven marks and 19 touches at 90 per cent efficiency.

"There’s nowhere to run from this," coach Leon Cameron said after the game. "We’ve just got to head down, bum up and fight through it."

The GIANTS next travel to the MCG to face Hawthorn.

The Sydney Swans had the bye this week
