Allies squad set for U18 National Champs

AFL NSW/ACT players will make up 21 players out of a possible 46 selections in the initial Allies squad announced today.

Players from New South Wales and the ACT will join others from Queensland, the Northern Territory, and Tasmania in the squad to play in the Division One NAB AFL Under 18 National Championships starting in June.

Selections were made for the Allies squad following the recent NAB AFL U18 Academy Series.

The Sydney Swans Academy dominated the competition, winning all five of their matches across the series. The GWS GIANTS Academy also showed positive signs throughout the competition, placing third after three wins.
