NAB AFL Women’s Draft Combine: Georgia Garnett

Castle Hill’s Georgia Garnett will have a nerve-racking two-week wait until draft night having completed the 2019 NAB AFL Women’s Draft Combine held in Melbourne last week.

Testing alongside 48 AFL Women’s hopefuls over three days, Garnett and her fellow 2019 NAB AFL Women’s Draft nominees also spent time with potential AFLW clubs.

Testing in areas such as agility, speed and endurance, players came from around the country to come up against one another, vying for positions on AFLW lists in 2020.

Garnett, Eloise Hiller-Stanbrook, Georgia Breward and Brenna Tarrant from the AFL NSW/ACT region were all invited to the Combine having had stellar 2019 NAB AFL Women’s Under-18 Championships’ earlier in the year.

The 2019 NAB AFL Women’s Draft will be held on October 22nd.
