Joss and AFL Community Grants announced
AFL NSW/ACT and the JOSS Group would like to congratulate the ten clubs who successfully secured $10,000 as part of the inaugural JOSS Group and AFL Community Facilities Grants program.
The ten clubs will commence work immediately on a range of projects to help improve community facilities at their home ground.
In total, over $410,000 has been leveraged from the ten JOSS Group and AFL Community Facilities Grants.
AFL NSW/ACT Facilities & Projects Manager Joseph La Posta said there were an overwhelming number of applicants who applied for the ten grants.
“All ten clubs demonstrated to us that a $10,000 grant will go a long way to provide an improved environment for their players, coaches, volunteers and spectators,” La Posta said.
“The AFL would like to thank all clubs for their applications and hope they continue to search for funding opportunities to improve their facilities.
“Thank you to the JOSS Group for their outstanding contribution, support and focus on grassroots sport. Without the support of the Joss Group and the AFL’s Facility Development Reserve these grants wouldn’t be possible.”
The JOSS Group is a strong family owned regional company who have specialised in construction management for over 35 years. Visit www.jossgroup.com.au for more information.
All clubs are encouraged to apply for facility grants later in the year. All of the details will be available online at www.aflnswact.com.au.
