GWS GIANTS Community Camp – Canberra
The GIANTS will be out and about for the Australia Post Community Camp in the ACT next week on Tuesday 4 and Wednesday 5 December.
Following school visits throughout the day on Tuesday, the GIANTS players will be at a number of junior clubs across the ACT that evening. The player will be split across these venues, and all members are invited to come along to this meet and greet opportunity, grab an autographs and participate in a skills sessions for the kids.
The GIANTS will be a the following clubs between 5-6.30pm
Gungahlin Jets FC – Amaroo Oval, Horse Park Drive, Amaroo
Ainslie FC – Ainslie Oval, Wakefield Ave, Ainslie
Eastlake FC – Kingston Oval, Dawes Street, Kingston
Queanbeyan FC – Dairy Farmers Park, Queenbar Road, Karabar
Belconnen Magpies FC – Kippax Oval, Hardwick Cres, Holt
Marist FC – Marist School, Marr Street, Pearce
St Edmunds FC – St Eddies Oval, Canberra Ave
Weston Creek FC – Chapman Oval, Streeton Drive
Tuggeranong Hawks, Bulldogs, Lions & Calwell Swans – Greenway Oval, Soward Street, Greenway
On Wednesday the 5th you are then invited to an open training session at Ainslie Oval (Wakefield Ave, Ainslie) between 8-10am. We encourage you to come down the see how the team are preparing for their second season in the AFL. After training the players will be back visiting more schools and the Children’s Ward at Canberra Hospital along with GIANTS mascot G-Man.
