GIANTS and Swans’ community visits

Over the past couple of weeks, Sydney Swans and GIANTS players visited several schools and AFL programs across greater Sydney to share their footy knowledge and have fun with around 600 children.

Swans players visited four different schools, an AFL 9s competition and Future Stars training at Macquarie University. Participants played fun games, learning some tips and tricks from the elite players. It was an experience to remember for the girls and boys, who relished the chance to meet their football idols.

GIANTS players visited nine activations, five school programs and four Auskick centres. Visits like these impact the lives of many children, families and local communities, giving some the chance to experience footy for the first time.

Thank you to players and participants involved in the sessions and made memories to last a lifetime.
