All girls gala day a hit!
It was a Sunday in July when an army of 5-8-year-old girls stormed Tonbridge Oval in Ramsgate, for a few hours of frenetic footy fun!
Participants from across Sydney turned out to a day of perfect sunshine and high energy.
The event was the brainchild of Ramsgate Rams, led by President Chris Nixon. Interest in the concept was so high that the initial plan of a local gathering for clubs in southern Sydney ballooned to an event that invited Auskick girls from the whole city.
More than 100 players graced the field and were supported by teenage girls from the Ramsgate Rams.
Congratulations to Ramsgate for hosting this terrific event. We know everyone involved immensely enjoyed themselves.
