AFL NSW/ACT Joss Group Grant Program

These grants have been designed to provide funding assistance to clubs who are looking to undertake small scale facility improvements to enhance their club environment for the 2014 AFL season and beyond.

Since partnering with Joss Group in 2010, the grant program has supported over $1.4 million worth of projects for community clubs and has a strong emphasis on regional NSW/ACT.

In 2014, there were 10 grants of $10,000 available to community clubs across New South Wales and the ACT with $5,000 provided by the AFL and $5,000 provided by the Joss Group.

This year there were three projects from Southern NSW, two projects from South Coast/ACT, and one each from the Sydney Harbour/Illawarra, Hunter/Central Coast, Northern NSW, and Northern Rivers regions.

The Joss Group’s commitment to regional New South Wales is demonstrated in their support of a variety of sporting groups, including their generous support of AFL NSW/ACT initiatives.

AFL NSW/ACT General Manager Craig Bolton, said the support of Joss Group was invaluable to the growth of community clubs around the region.

“We are extremely fortunate to have the support of an organisation like Joss Group to help us grow our sport at the community level,” Bolton said.

“Their contribution assists us with supporting community clubs who take the initiative in improving their club’s infrastructure, and helping their players develop in a positive and quality environment.”

For almost 40 years, Joss Group has specialised in construction and facilities management for sporting groups and government departments throughout NSW/ACT.
