AFL NSW/ACT mourns tragic loss

AFL NSW/ACT is shocked and saddened by the bus tragedy in the Hunter Valley and the loss the community has suffered. We send our deepest condolences to all those affected in the accident, especially those from the Singleton Roosters.

As a mark of respect to the victims of the crash, AFL NSW/ACT encourages clubs, umpires and officials across the state and territory to wear red and white (Singleton Roosters’ colours) OR black arm bands during their matches this weekend. AFL NSW/ACT also asks all matches to be preceded with one minute of silence observed by players, coaches, officials and spectators.

How best to assist those affected

AFL NSW/ACT thanks everyone who has offered their support and condolences to the Singleton Roosters and those who have suffered in the tragedy.

Public information about memorials and other updates for the community will be published via the Singleton Roosters and AFL Hunter Central Coast channels.
