2016 Youth Girls Nationals Fixture
The annual Youth Girls National Championships commence this Sunday, 1 May in Melbourne.
In it’s seventh year, the Championships aims to offer talented U18 females pathways to higher honours including 50 players selected to participate in the curtain raiser to the Western Bulldogs v Melbourne Women’s match.
26 Under 18 females were selected from the Academy matches played earlier in the month to represent NSW/ACT at the Championships.
The team will face the Woomeras in their opening match on Sunday before competing against teams from Northern Territory and South Australia later in the week.
