Hungry for a win and looking to set up a decider in the final round, the GIANTS started the match with a bang. They were the team with control of the match and had a considerable lead of 28 points early in the third quarter.

However, they were not able to hold out as the Swans took control and launched their comeback.

Through Jordan Endemann’s five goals, the Swans managed to finish the match as 13-point victors.

Credit to Liam Puncher and Matthew Mackenzie who also bagged two goals apiece for the Swans.

The Swans held a small lead of five points at the end of half-time, determined to take the first victory of the series. By this point in the game, Jade Jarret, Edie Auston and Sarah Heptinstall had all contributed to the Swans’ lead on the scoreboard.

GIANTS player, Kiahna Davis-White was not quite able to single-handedly match the Swans’ goals in the first half, but nonetheless produced two goals of her own for her side.

It was close for the remainder of the match, but the game belonged to the Swans who walked away with a win of 11 points.

Swans’ players, Keely Rock, Sibella Sarraf and Maddie Convery also contributed to the scoreboard in the second half for their side.

Ruby Sargent-Wilson and Georgie Fowler helped the GIANTS keep pace with their goals but unfortunately for their side, it was not quite enough.
