NAB League: Bushrangers and Power on our turf now

The Sydney Swans and GIANTS Academies will host two powerhouse Under-18 Victorian clubs this Saturday at Blacktown International Sportspark in Round 4 of the NAB League.

The Swans will come up against the Murray Bushrangers, the former club of AFL NSW/ACT 2018 draftees, Jacob Koschitzke and Mathew Walker.

Coming into the squad after the week’s break are East Sydney’s Marco Rossman, North Shore duo Pierce Roseby and Thomas Drum,  as well as Manly pairing Cooper Wilson and Thomas Trevaskis.

Braeden Campbell and Errol Gulden will miss the match as they represent the Australian Under-17 side on the MCG in the annual ANZAC match against New Zealand. Also missing the Round 5 clash for the Swans will be Thomas Tyson, Sam Gaden and Thomas Baxter.

The Swans remain undefeated in the competition, currently sitting third on the ladder having played one game less than the Victorian clubs.

The GIANTS Academy will be looking to continue on their Round 4 winning ways when they come up against the Gippsland Power following the Swans’ match at Blacktown.

Getting their first win of the season before the break, it has been Liam Delahunty who has led the charge of goals for the GIANTS, currently sitting fifth on the league goal scorers board with eight goals in three games, just three goals behind the leader on 11.

Coming in for the orange and charcoal are Collingullie’s Harry Radley, Wagga’s Kane Flack, East Coasts’ Jackson Moen, Mangoplah’s George Kendall, Marist’s Sebastian Quirk and Queanbeyan’s Sam Frost.

Sitting out this week for the GIANTS will be Tom Green after playing in the AFL Commission Chairman’s Cup last Saturday, and his brother Josh. Regan Drew, Jai Reed, James Pope and Wilson Mudge will also miss Round 5.

Both matches will be live streamed on the NAB League App.
