Final YG Northern Academy Series teams

Following squad selection for the Youth Girls Northern Academy Series two weeks ago, the final GWS GIANTS and Sydney Swans Academy teams have been announced for this weekend’s competition.

The teams – each playing in the colours of their Swans and GIANTS senior counterparts – will take on the Queensland Academies of the Brisbane Lions and Gold Coast Suns.

The competition will run on the NSW/ACT side of the border, with Coffs Harbour hosting the players from 21 April 2017 to 23 April 2017.

The Series will also produce the final AFL NSW/ACT Youth Girls State team, which will be selected from the Swans and GIANTS teams. The AFL NSW/ACT Youth Girls state team will represent the region in the National Youth Girls Championships to be held later in 2017 in Blacktown and the Gold Coast.

10:00am – GWS GIANTS vs. Brisbane Lions
