After a successful 2012 season, Camden Junior Australian Football Club is hoping to recruit players in the new year.

The local season runs from March to September and the club fields junior teams from Auskick to Under-6s.

Club secretary Hilarie Storie said Camden was one of the region’s biggest clubs.

“We are looking forward to another big year after we had three teams in the grand finals this season,” she said. “We’ve had quite a few inquiries already, so things are starting to look positive for the game’s growth in Camden.”

Mrs Storie said the code was riding a wave of success with the code’s expansion into western Sydney.

“With the Swans being premiers and the introduction of the Giants, it’s been a bumper year,” she said. “We ask anyone interested in the game to contact us.”
