atWork Australia on board with Inclusion Rams

AFL NSW/ACT is delighted to announce atWork Australia as the naming rights partner for their team set to compete at the AFL National Inclusion Carnival next month.

The Carnival brings together footballers with an intellectual disability from across the country to take part in a week-long round-robin competition, this year to be held at Blacktown International Sportspark for the first time. Footballers hailing from all corners of Australia will have the opportunity to don the representative jumper, with teams from New South Wales and the ACT, the Northern Territory, Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania, Victoria Country, Victoria Metro, and Western Australia set to take to the field.

atWork Australia’s NSW State Manager Disability Employment Services, Kaylee Reitano, said the company are thrilled to be partnering with the AFL NSW/ACT Inclusion Rams.

“Inclusion is at the heart of the AFL National Inclusion Carnival, just as it’s at the heart of what atWork Australia does,” said Reitano.

“We are passionate about supporting Australians with disability into meaningful work. We know the power of inclusion in work, sport, community and all facets of life.

“That shared commitment to inclusion is why it is such a natural fit for us to support the atWork Australia AFL NSW/ACT Rams Inclusion Team. Go the Rams!”

AFL NSW/ACT Community Football Support Manager, Jacinta Houston said that thanks to the support of atWork Australia, the players representing New South Wales and the ACT will participate in the Carnival at no cost to their families.

“We are grateful for the generous support of our new partner atWork Australia, sponsoring our representative team for the AFL National Inclusion Carnival,” said Houston.

“Our shared mission of inclusion makes this partnership all the more special. atWork Australia work tirelessly to ensure people with disability are included in the workplace and can find good work, achieving their career goals.

“This aligns with our goal of ensuring people with disability are included in sport, and can reach their hopes and dreams on the field.

“Thanks to the generous support of our new partner, we’re delighted  that our representative team for the AFL National Inclusion Carnival won’t be out of pocket for the experience.

“We are looking forward to welcoming participants and their families from across Australia to this fantastic Carnival, and I can’t wait to see our atWork Australia AFL NSW/ACT Inclusion Rams take the field.”

The AFL National Inclusion Carnival runs from Monday, July 15 to Saturday, July 21 at Blacktown International Sportspark.
