Allies team selected for first round of Champs
The Allies team set to take on Vic Country in Round One of the 2019 NAB AFL Under-18 Championships has been announced.
Including 12 players from New South Wales and the ACT (and one emergency), the group will travel to UTAS Stadium in Launceston for the match this Sunday.
Made up of players from New South Wales, the ACT, Queensland, the Northern Territory and Tasmania, the team includes seven players from the Sydney Swans Academy and four from the GIANTS Academy, while Will Chandler from Corowa-Rutherglen who plays for the Murray Bushrangers also features.
The Championships will provide a platform for all players to show AFL recruiters their talent ahead of the 2019 NAB AFL Draft in November (TBC).
